Paris, April 2014. The Dutch PROOV B.V., a specialist in charging infrastructure for buses, taxis and commercial vehicles, invests in the company IPT Technology GmbH. The corresponding contract was signed on April 7, 2014 in Paris. Details on the new ownership structure won`t be disclosed following agreement. IPT Technology GmbH headquartered in Efringen-Kirchen, Germany emerged at the beginning of the year as a spin off from Conductix-Wampfler GmbH and specializes in wireless charging solutions for electric vehicles in public space. PROOV is a pioneer in the use of inductive power transfer (IPT®) technology and has already implemented IPT® Charge in projects.

Conductix-Wampfler, the world`s leading manufacturer of energy and data transmission systems to moving consumers and pioneer of the IPT® technology, continues to develop intelligent solutions for industrial applications, using inductive power transfer, through its exclusive cooperation with IPT Technology. IPT Technology develops IPT® Charge for transport applications and focuses on marketing in the field of transportation, e.g. public transport.
